Our Student Learns How to Spin Blankets
The Karen Hill Tribe Community accepted us with open arms. We crafted waste baskets, knitted clothing, and built snake traps. We shared stories, learned from one another, worked with each other on the farm, and cleaned their elephants. It was an experience of a lifetime. Castlemont High School students were in the building. Upon returning, we shared our experiences with our high school community.
Striking the Gong
This was an amazing feeling! Students were able to strike the gongs outside of the temples in Bangkok. Definitely one of the most relieving experiences of our journey. Students loved this!!
